MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) - A Milwaukee firefighter is
pleading guilty to two charges in a deadly drunk-driving crash. 32-year-old
Joshua Larson killed two people last year. His blood-alcohol level was .17,
more than twice the legal limit. As part of a plea agreement prosecutors are
dropping two other felonies.
Larson could be sentenced up to 25 years for each
count to which he has pleaded guilty. A judge will review a sentencing
recommendation on July 21. Prosecutors say they’ll ask for eight years of jail
time, followed by four years of supervised release. The judge still has the
final word on the sentence.
