One dead after car-truck crash along Route 66

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that happened Saturday morning along Route 66 in Westmoreland County.
Richard B. Wysocki, 34, of North Apollo, was killed in the crash at Walker Road in Washington Township, police said.
Investigators said Wysocki's Chevrolet Sonic crossed the center line around 11:30 p.m. and crashed into a flatbed truck. 
The truck sustained damage to the driver's side and ended up against a guard rail. Police said the truck driver was not injured, police said. 
The road in the area of the crash was closed while crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and McCutcheon Enterprises Inc. cleaned up fuel. 

The Westmoreland County coroner said Wysocki was not wearing a seat belt.
